SHOTOKAN KARATE & LCSKC
Shotokan Karate is an "empty hand" traditional Japanese style of martial arts created by Master Gichin Funokoshi in Okinawa in the early 1900s. We continue to adhere to the principles set forth by Master Funokoshi. "The ultimate aim of Karate lies not in victory or defeat, but in the perfection of character of the participant."

Training is divided into three parts: kihon (basics), kata (forms) and kumite (sparring). Each plays a crucial role in the development of karate skills as well as physical and mental development.

LCSKC (Lancaster County Shotokan Karate Club) was formed by Sensei Todd Kentzel (7th Dan) in 2012.
